Conference & Venues
The conference will take place at the Federal Statistical Office, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 11, 65189 Wiesbaden. The plenary lectures will be held at the Kurhaus Wiesbaden (Kurhausplatz 1, 65189 Wiesbaden), approximately 2.5 km away from the Federal Statistical Office.
Arrival
From Wiesbaden Central Station, the Federal Statistical Office can be reached on foot via Gustav-Stresemann-Ring in about 10 minutes (approx. 800m). Alternatively, bus lines 16, 27B, 28, 37, 45 or 262 can be taken from bus platform A to the “Statistisches Bundesamt” bus stop. The Kurhaus is about a 30-minute walk from the Federal Statistical Office (2.2 km, via Friedrich-Ebert-Allee and Wilhelmstraße). By bus, you can reach the “Kurhaus/Theater” stop in about 25 minutes from the main station with lines 1, 8 or 16.
Getting around in Wiesbaden
There are no parking facilities for conference guests at the Federal Statistical Office. We generally recommend travelling by bus or on foot wherever possible. If you are arriving by car, we recommend using the paid car parks and parking areas near Wiesbaden Central Station.
